The Two Witnesses - Part 9: "By My Spirit!" Says The Lord

Friends and Readers - What a wonderful time I have had asking questions, searching for evidence, and sharing conclusions with you during this series.  You gave me an opportunity to make the case that Judah and Joseph are the two witnesses of Revelation 11 and Zechariah 4.  Thank you for reading and allowing me the privilege of presenting the possibility.

Joseph understands that Yeshua is The Messiah.

Judah understands that Torah is still in effect.

Before you get offended about the Torah statement...recall the verbiage of the New Covenant.

Each brother has a missing piece that the other needs.

But one day - The brothers will agree...

Joseph will understand that the Torah is still important and embrace it being written on his heart

and

Judah will understand that Yeshua is The Messiah and call Him back to reign.

The brothers will dwell together in unity -- Henei Ma Tov!

And what will make it happen?  Who will make it happen?

The Holy Spirit -- The Ruach haKodesh

You see, as I began writing this series, I felt the overwhelming weight of the story that I would be sharing with you.  I questioned my thinking.  I questioned the evidence.  I questioned the theories presented.  I worried.  The witnesses and what they could teach us consumed me.  How could what I was piecing together be true?

Then The Father gave me a verse:

"Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit!" says YHVH.

Zechariah 4:6

And then I was ready to begin.

You see, YHVH could impose His will by His might or power, but instead, He uses the ministry of the Holy Spirit...the Ruach haKodesh...in the lives of His people.

He could overcome each of us with His might and power, but He sends His Servant "The Branch" to say, "Follow Me."

Will We?

Will I?

He will lift up a banner for the nations,

and assemble the dispersed of Israel,

and gather the scattered of Judah

from the four corners of the earth.

Ephraim's envy will end,

those hostile to Judah will be cut off.

Ephraim will not be jealous of Judah,

and Judah will not harass Ephraim.

Isaiah 11:12-13

It will happen.  Will we be part of the restoration or will we hinder it?

The Book -

You've been so patient!

The Bronze Bow by Elizabeth George Speare is a delightful historical fiction about a young man, Daniel, growing up in Israel at the time of Yeshua's earthly ministry.  Daniel and his friends are looking for a revolutionary to raise an army against the Romans. And why not?  The scriptures promise a Deliverer.  But through the pages of the book, Daniel learns that there are worse things than the physical presence of the Romans, and that the gentle Yeshua may just be the man for deliverance after all.  Daniel understands that sometimes, just like bending the bronze bow, the seemingly impossible, can become attainable, through love and faith.

And that is why this topic of the 2 witnesses reminded me of The Bronze Bow.  The task before us looks impossible - just like having the strength to pull the strings of a bronze bow.  It cannot be done with our earthly resources.  We cannot convince people of the importance of the Torah.  We cannot convince people of the Messiahship of Yeshua.  But, "by My Spirit," Says YHVH.

He is The God of the impossible.

May He strengthen our arms to bend the bronze bow.

Psalm 18

Thank you for taking the time to

Come Seek With Me!

This concludes the series of The Two Witnesses

However, I have added these final thoughts as an "afterglow" to the series.  I hope you will enjoy.
