Christmas in July: Part 9

Good to be with you again dear readers!  I want to share a word with you that has been showing up in my life for a few months now.

🍃Restoration

You see, that is what it is all about.  Soon, I believe that the words of Isaiah 11:12 will come to fruition, and YHVH will "assemble the dispersed of Israel, and gather the scattered of Judah."  ↩ Two different people groups, by the way.

Even today, I believe there are those "erecting road markers and signposts", and "setting their hearts toward the highway" (Jeremiah 31:20) for what will be called one of the most important events in history.  It is an event so big that YHVH will no longer be known as He "who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt. (Jeremiah 23:7)"

That must be pretty big!

What is it?

Ever heard of the Second Exodus?

It's a thing.  But don't take my word for it.  Read it for yourself.

11 Then it will happen on that day that the Lord Will again recover the second time with His hand The remnant of His people, who will remain, From Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, And from the islands of the sea. 12 And He will lift up a standard for the nations And assemble the banished ones of Israel, And will gather the dispersed of Judah From the four corners of the earth.
[Isa 11:11-12 NASB]

Restoration🍃

After reading Part 8, a friend from my Bible study group reminded me that the 4th cup of Passover is the cup of Restoration.  Thank you Wayne Scott!

As I continue to study the feasts of YHVH found in Leviticus 23 and compare those feasts to manmade holidays, like Christmas, I see that somewhere along the way, believers lost so much Biblical meaning by not understanding God's calendar.  That meaning has been taken from us...and it is time for us to take it back.

🍃Restoration

You see, The Father does not typically snap His fingers and make immediate changes in our world and in the lives of individuals.  His plans generally slowly unfold over time based on the work of His people.

Where would we be today if Abram had never left Ur?

What would have happened if Moses had said no to leading the Exodus?

How could Jesus have been born if Ruth left Naomi?

Would Joshua have survived to lead the people into Israel if Rahab had not hidden him?

And the big one...What if Jesus did not give Himself as a sacrifice?

This could go on for pages...

Do you see that YHVH puts callings on the lives of His people
that they may accomplish His will?

So Debbie...you're way out in left field now.  This has nothing to do with Christmas.  Please...stop rambling and get back on topic.

Okay

What if, we could hasten the return of the Messiah - of Jesus - by giving up our desires (i.e.: Christmas) and walking in obedience to the whole word of YHVH?

What if our Jewish brothers watched our transformation...away from Rome's version of Jesus to the Hebrew understanding of Messiah Yeshua?

What if they became jealous?

What if they also wanted Messiah Yeshua?

What if they RESTORED Him to His Kingdom?

You lost me Deb...what are you talking about now?

Grab your Bible, Friends, and turn to 2 Samuel 19:10-44.

Here we read about the RESTORATION of King David.  David had been run out of town by his son Absalom. He fled across the Jordan River to safety.  When Absalom had been defeated, David did not immediately come back to his throne.  He waited.

What was he waiting for?

He was waiting for his kinsmen -- to call him back.

Guess what Jesus -- Messiah Yeshua -- is waiting for?

He is waiting for His kinsmen -- to call him back.

15 I will go away [and] return to My place Until they acknowledge their guilt and seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.  [Hos 5:15 NASB]

What if we hasten their seeking and shorten their affliction by our obedience?  By representing Jesus -- Messiah Yeshua -- more authentically?

11 And the sons of Judah and the sons of Israel will be gathered together, And they will appoint for themselves one leaderAnd they will go up from the land, For great will be the day of Jezreel. [Hos 1:11 NASB]

I submit to you that giving up the Roman idea of Jesus and embracing the Hebrew Savior Messiah Yeshua of Israel is a great place to start.  May we be an active part of the Restoration!

This is a hard word to hear Friends, but I hope I have shown you at least the tip of the iceberg about why it may be important in hastening the return of Yeshua.  (I have been using Jesus within this series, but I am going to begin referencing Him as Yeshua moving forward).

So if what I say is true -- and please do not take my word for it -- read the scriptures for yourself from Genesis to Revelation.  Multiple times...  But if you test it and indeed find that it is true, would you be willing to begin transitioning away from holidays created by church leaders and politicians and into the feasts of YHVH?

I told you I was going to share how I cope, and one of the best coping mechanisms I have is following the feast calendar of YHVH.  It takes some practice, and I don't have it mastered yet, but it becomes more natural with each year.  I hope you will visit me again as I tell you more about the feasts...

Come Seek With Me!
