The Two Witnesses: Part 8 - What's The Fuss All About?

Image
Hello Friends and Readers๐Ÿ˜ƒ   Whew!  We have really covered some ground!   If you are just arriving, you may want to go back and start from the beginning.   Click here to begin with installment #1 .   I have shared with readers that I believe Judah and Joseph are the 2 witnesses we have been looking for, and I have tried to help readers be able to identify them in our time.   In #7 , we learned that Judah is Judah, but that Joseph is...complicated.   Joseph is Israel, dispersed into the nations.  He no longer realizes that he is Israel.  He lives as the nations live...as gentiles live.  He may be your Christian neighbor or friend.  He may be of any religion, or of no religion.  He may be you.  He may be me.   You see, only The Father knows where His people have been scattered.   He knows when a sparrow falls , and He knows the number of hairs on our heads.   He knows where His people...His inheritance have been scattered .  There are teachers out there who will tell you that YHVH is f

The Two Witnesses - Part 7: Nobody Said There Would Be Math!

Hello My Friends! Welcome back for Part 7 of The Two Witnesses.  Over the past 6 installments of this series, I have tried to: Explain why we are looking for 2 witnesses in a prophetic sense as related to the Feast of Trumpets  Make a case that upon their agreement that Messiah will return Examine possible "suspects" as to who these 2 witnesses may be Develop a scripture-based theory as to the identity of the 2 witnesses -- my theory being Judah and Joseph Define who these brothers are in our day - We are working through this now. And it has taken 6 blogs so far.  I greatly appreciate that you have come back for #7.   In this installment, we are going to revisit Genesis 48 and Romans 11 without all the technical talk .  While I will not be asking you to dig into Hebrew or Greek, I will be asking you to do some simple math .  Ready to get started?  Let's go! I'm going to begin this time with a graphic.  You can laugh.  It's not very sophisticated, but I think

The Two Witnesses - Part 6: Who Are Judah and Joseph Today?

Hello Friends and Readers!  I am so thankful that you have clicked in again to keep following the trail of the two witnesses along with me.  Your encouragement has been very meaningful as we have journeyed down this path together, and now we have arrived at installment #6.  Wow!  If you have found this series "in progress," hop back to this link to get started at the beginning and we will meet back here soon. I explained in blog #5, that I believe our 2 witnesses are Judah and Jospeh, and I left you with some questions to ponder.  The first question had to do with WHO these brother are in our day.     Throughout the Bible, we have seen Judah represent the tribe of Judah.  That is where we get our English word "Jew" from today.   So we can determine that Judah represents the Jewish people.   Judah or the Jewish people are one of the brothers. That was easy!   Joseph -- This one is a little bit harder.  Do you recall that I explained that Jospeh can mean a lot of

Welcome back dear Friends and Readers! The desire of the everlasting hills I cannot believe we are ready for Part 5!  Who knew there was so much to understand about these 2 witnesses!! If you are just now joining us, let me say WELCOME ๐Ÿ˜ƒ !  Since we have covered so much ground, I recommend starting here and joining us after you have read the first 4 installments of this series.   Speaking of starting at the beginning...I bet some of you thought I had forgotten about The Bronze Bow .  Nope.  We will come full circle by the end, so if you are so inclined, starting reading ๐Ÿ˜ƒ . Last we were together, we began looking for scriptural evidence to help us narrow down some popular theories as to the identity of the 2 witness of Revelation 11 and Zechariah 4.   I feel like I need to pause here and emphasize the word theories .   While I have and will continue to use scripture to put together my case for the identity of the 2 witnesses, I need to be transparent with you in pointing out that

The Two Witnesses: Part 4 - Who Does Not Agree?

Image
I'm back!  Last we were together, I left you with a question to roll around.  That question was: Who Does Not agree?   Disagreement (If you are just finding this series for the first time, that question probably doesn't make any sense.  Go back and start here , then I promise it will.  :)  I'll be right here when you get back).   As a refresher, we are trailing the 2 witnesses of Revelation 11 and Zechariah 4 to understand more about the prophetic fulfillment of Yom Teruah, or the Feast of Trumpets.  In comparison to the 2 witnesses needed to confirm the new moon, we can reason that once the two witnesses agree, the fulfillment of this feast can begin  (Messiah's return!).  So...I think we are looking for 2 witnesses that do not yet agree on something but WILL agree in a future time.  Are you ready to investigate?  The theories I presented were: *Moses and Elijah *Old Testament/Covenant and New Testament/Covenant *Judah and Joseph Let's look at each pair of th

The Two Witnesses: Part 3 - Sons of The Oil

Oil   Hello Friends and Readers; glad to have you back!  We are hot on the trail of the 2 witnesses and their relationship to Yom Teruah, or the Feast of Trumpets.  If you are just arriving to this series, please  go back and begin here , and this will make much more sense.  I will be right here waiting when you return :)  Ready to keep trailing?  Let's go! Here are the scripture references: Revelation 11:1-6 Zechariah 4 We will begin in Revelation 11 where we find the 2 witnesses prophesying for 1260 days dressed in sackcloth.  In verse 4 of chapter 11 , we learn that the 2 witnesses are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks that are standing before the Lord of the earth.   Does anything about that feel familiar?  If you have read the book of Zechariah, it should.  Let's jump back to Zechariah chapter 4 and give it a good read through.  What did you notice?  (This is the part when I wish we were sitting together around a table with our bibles in hand searching and tal
